जब कोई व्यक्ति या वस्तु किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु से कोई काम करा रहा होता है, तो हम Causative Verb का प्रयोग करते हैं।
Causative Verb Examples in English to Hindi:-
- You made me make this mistake. ➔ तुमने मुझसे यह गलती करवाई।
- He does not let me to meet her. ➔ वह मुझे उससे मिलने नहीं देते हो।
- We got them to run away. ➔ हमने उन्हें भगाया।
- You had me tell a lie. ➔ तुमने मुझसे झूठ बुलवाया।
ऊपर दिये गये Sentences से यह बोध होता है कि कार्य किसी दूसरे की सहायता से होता है, परन्तु Subject स्वयं भी उसमें भाग लेता है। English में ऐसी Verbs को Causative Verb कहते हैं।
Causative Verbs वे क्रियाएँ होती हैं जो दर्शाती हैं कि Subject किसी और से कोई काम करवाता है, खुद नहीं करता।
1. Causative Verb: Make/Made
Structure
Subject + make/made + Object + Verb (1st Form)
Examples:-
1. I made him write a letter. ➔ मैंने उससे पत्र लिखवाया।
2. She made me stand in the queue. ➔ उसने मुझे लाइन में खड़ा करवाई।
3. He made Jessica open the door. ➔ उसने जेसिका से दरवाज़ा खुलवाया।
4. The teacher made the student apologize. ➔ शिक्षक ने छात्र से माफी मंगवाई।
5. You made me make this mistake. ➔ तुमने मुझसे यह गलती करवाई।
6. He makes me write. ➔ वो मुझसे लिखवाता है।
7. You are making me fight with him. ➔ तुम मुझे उससे लड़वा रहे हो।
8. I will make him apologize. ➔ मैं उससे माफी मंगवाऊंगा।
9. He makes me eat good food. ➔ वो मुझे अच्छा खाना खिलाता है।
10. Children are making me fool. ➔ बच्चे मुझे बेवकूफ बना रहे हैं।
2. Causative Verb: Let
Structure
Subject + let + Object + to + Verb (1st Form)
Examples:-
1. She lets me to play. ➔ वह मुझे खेलने देती है।
2. William will not let you to go. ➔ विलियम आपको नहीं जाने देगा।
3. You let me to learn computer. ➔ तुमने मुझे कम्प्यूटर सिखवाया।
4. He does not let me to meet her. ➔ वह मुझे उससे मिलने नहीं देते हो।
5. You should let him to speak. ➔ आपको उसे बोलने देना चाहिए।
6. Will you let the hair to cut? ➔ क्या तुम बाल कटवाओगे?
7. He lets me to go home. ➔ वह मुझे घर जाने देता है।
8. We let him to go out. ➔ हमने उसे बाहर भिजवाया।
9. Can you let me to learn dance? ➔ क्या तुम मुझे डांस सिखवा सकते हो?
10. Why did he let you to spend the money? ➔ उसने तुमसे पैसे क्यों खर्च करवाये?
3. Causative Verb: Get/Got
Structure
Subject + get/got + Object + to + Verb (1st Form) Or
Subject + get/got + Object + Verb (3st Form)
Examples:-
1. George got Jessica to go home. ➔ जॉर्ज ने जेसिका को घर भिजवाया।
2. She got him to sign the letter. ➔ उसने उससे पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर करवाए।
3. You will have to get this work to done. ➔ तुम्हें ये काम करवाना पड़ेगा।
4. We got them to run away. ➔ हमने उन्हें भगाया।
5. My mom gets me to cook food every day. ➔ मेरी माँ मुझे हर दिन खाना बनवाती है।
6. When will you get your hair to cut? ➔ तुम बाल कब कटवाओगे।
7. You are getting me to write your homework. ➔ आप मुझसे अपना होमवर्क लिखवा रहे हो।
8. I got him to change his plan. ➔ मैंने उससे उसकी योजना बदलवाई।
9. That child got everyone to laugh. ➔ उस बच्चे ने हर किसी को हँसाया।
10. Henry gets me to cry every day. ➔ हेनरी मुझे रोज रुलाता है।
4. Causative Verb: Have
Structure
Subject + have + Object + Verb (1st Form) Or
Subject + have + Object + Verb (3rd Form)
Examples:-
1. I had you fill the bucket. ➔ मैंने तुमसे बाल्टी भरवाई।2. You have made me cry. ➔ तुमने मुझे रुलाया।
3. She will have me be beaten. ➔ वो मुझे पिटवायेगी।
4. He had his sister cook yesterday. ➔ उसने कल अपने बहिन से खाना बनवाया।
5. You had me understand the value of love. ➔ तुमने मुझे प्यार की कीमत समझायी।
6. Emma will make me write his homework. ➔ एम्मा मुझसे अपना होमवर्क करवायेगी।
7. She had his sister cook yesterday. ➔ उसने कल अपने बहिन से खाना बनवाया।
8. I have to get this work done. ➔ मुझे ये काम करवाना है।
